Message Format for FM Pagers (Numeric)

Numeric pagers use the following command format: FPG,27,0,3!1234

In the example above, we paged number 27 at power level 3 with the numeric message 1234.

Message Format for FM Pagers (Alpha-numeric)

Important

• The message MUST be prefaced with the character A.
• The MAXIMUM alpha message size is 200 characters

Alpha-numeric pagers use the following command format: FPG,9,0,3!Aabcdefg.

In the example above, we paged number 9 at power level 3 with the message abcdefg.
##Alternative 1
PAGE,9,0,abcdefg will page the same way; however, it uses the default HPWR setting.

Alternative 2

CCPAGE,0700072,abcdefg pages in the same way; however, it uses the default HPWR setting and the address makes use of the LRS system ID incorporated into the capcode

Message Format for FM POCSAG Pagers (Vibe-only)

Note

The Vibe-Only Messages for LRS POCSAG Pagers are as follows:

• MSG = 11 (one time)
• MSG = 22 (twice)
• MSG = 33 (three times)

Vibration-only pagers use the following command format: FPG,7,0,3!22.

In the example above, we paged number 7 at power level 3 with the vibrate twice message.
