Note

Some commands can be entered by using the CPG command with specific guest numbers. Please consult the standard user manual for the CPG accessible commands.

All commands below are uppercase and terminated by CR or CRLF.

Resets the transmitter

Run range test at current high power level

Set high power level, values = 1 to 4 for range test only.

Volume when paging with beep mode, values = 1 loud, 0 quiet

SID,#

Set Station ID, values = 0 to 99

RID,#

Set Restaurant ID. This must be set correctly to page (alpha 0..200, all others 0..255)

NUMP,#

Set Number of pages per transmission burst, generally set to 3 or 4

SETT,##,##

Set the real time clock to HH, MM 24 hour mode

TIM

Request current time

RESET

Resets the transmitter with some associated parameter checking.

STAT

Request current status of the unit and returns some programmable parameter settings

SF,N

Sets the PLL frequency (do not change this value, consult LRS)

RFBAUD,#

Sets transmitted baud rate for POCSAG pages. Values = 512, 1200, 2500

AMDIS,#

Am signals Disabled (0), Enabled (1)

PAGE,nn,sys,msg

Page a POCSAG pager with individual number = nn, system ID =sys and alpha message msg, uses HPWR setting

CCPAGE,CC,msg

Page a POCSAG pager directly using its CapCode CC (7-8 digit address) alpha message = msg, uses HPWR setting

WPROG, welcome msg

Program POCSAG welcome messageq, uses default HPWR setting

GPROG, gg, nn

Program POCSAG group ‘gg’ with number ‘nn’, uses default HPWR setting

GNPROG,gg, name

Program POCSAG group "gg" name with name, uses default HPWR setting

GPEN,0/1

Enable group paging 1=enable, 0=disable, uses default HPWR setting

KPROG

Transmits user encryption key to pagers, uses default HPWR setting

CCPROG,n,CC

Programs capcode slot "n" with capcode CC, uses default HPWR setting

TPROG,hh,mm

Programs time into a POCSAG pager, uses default HPWR setting

DPROG,dd,mm,yy

Programs date into a POCSAG pager, uses default HPWR setting

FMTPROG,x,y

Programs date time format into a pager

Set encryption key in transmitter, there are 15 pairs of "nn" hex digits

COMMBAUD,nnnn

Set communication baud rate (valid nnnn = 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200)

INONCE

Initialize the entropy of the encryption engine, the unit will do this a first time based upon a thermally derived random number, but this command can be used to initialize again

BL

Start the boot loader, firmware can be upgraded by using XMODEM at this point

BPROG,x

POCSAG Pager Enable Button. Enable (x=0), Disable (x=3). Uses default HPWR setting.

RPTDLY,#

Turn on (1) or off (0) delay for repeater

CELLEN,#

Turn on (1) or off (0) cell paging

CELL,#,##,message

(T7460 ONLY)
Sends either SMS or VOICE page to cell phone.

  • # = 0 for SMS, 1 for voice
  • ## = cell number to page
  • message = message to send

Send SMS message.
