Group Paging
Group paging is an LRS extension to POCSAG that allows pages to be sent simultaneously to a subset of the entire system. 4-line alphapagers will indicate a page was a group page on the page summary screen. If the group has not been named, then the group number will be shown:
If the group has was named at programming time, then the name will be shown:
Group Numbers
Group numbers are 2-decimal digits. Valid group numbers are 0
through 98
. 99
is reserved to indicate a disabled group slot.
Transmitting Group Pages
Group pages are always sent to the system capcode of the pager. The start of a group page takes the following form:

where ##
is a 2 digit decimal group number, left padded with zeroes (0
) if necessary. The message to display is comes after the ]
.
Examples
The following example sends "Customer in showroom" to all pagers in group 3.
