Test Setup

To enable testing of the transmitter, a CoAP client must be used. It is recommended to use Copper which was made for Firefox.

Firefox WebExtensions

As of Firefox 57, Copper will not work. It is recommended to use Pale Moon (A fork of Firefox) which will allow the use of old extensions.

1. Install Pale Moon
2. Install Copper using Pale Moon browser.
3. Restart Pale Moon.
4. Ensure that Guest Sessions and network is enabled on the transmitter. You can find out the IP address by navigating on the transmitter: Setup -> Diagnostics -> Host IP.
5. In Pale Moon address bar, type coap://[TRANSMITTER_IP] where [TRANSMITTER_IP] is the IP address of the transmitter.
6. Click Discover in the top left corner to see list of endpoints.

If the request hangs without a response, Guest Sessions or Network may not be enabled. Please refer to Introduction to see steps on enabling the mode.
