Repeater Mode
Repeat pages Mode allows the transmitter to receive pages from another LRS transmitter, and “retransmit” them to increase the on-site coverage to pagers.
The repeater operates at its best when installed at the “fringe” of your area. This means
you should get it as far from the transmitter as possible but still be able to receive the
transmitter’s signal.
Turn Repeat ON
To turn Repeater Mode on, send out the code 'RPTRX,1'.
A minimum 500 ms hold-off time is inserted before transmitting a repeated page. Hold-off time is increased for long POCSAG pages.
8-second duplicate page timer. Duplicate pages are not repeated.
The T7470-C232 will repeat any POCSAG page with the correct OTA baud rate and polarity.
Note: Enabling repeater functionality and Wait Reducer functionality at the same time will result in Wait Reducer messages being repeated at the pager transmit frequency.
Turn Repeat OFF
To turn Repeater Mode off, send out the code 'RPTRX,0'.
